Military loving girl asked:
Okay so yesterday i asked a question concerning him fighting with my other fish in my 30 gallon tank. Well i went out and bought a 7 gallon aquarium just for him and put him in it. Just now i went to feed him and noticed theres all this bubbly look material all over the top? I’m serious does it mean he’s courting or something? Should i buy a female? I don’t know if i should because i’ve never bred bettas only guppies.

I have a 37 gallon, cycled, freshwater aquarium. Im still in the process of adding new fish to the tank slowly. The salt has directions on how much to use, but not how often. I want to make sure they don’t get too stressed. Any feedback is appreciated.

I have several freshwater fish and several live plants. What is the best way to move the tank?? Should I drain out most of the water and then move the tank?? Or drain all of the water, remove the fish and plants, and then move the tank?? Also, if I need a seperate tank, can I dump the fish in right away if it’s the same water, or do I have to start with fresh water and let it cycle through the new tank. Any feedback and help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

sjrockey asked: Hello,
I have a 5 gallon poly hex tank. It is my first time having fish. I am doing this as a 4-H project. The tnak has been set up for 3 weeks. I actually put two mollies in a couple weeks ago, but they did not do well. Tank had not cycled correctly and too much nitrogen…
I am going to wait until the tank has been set up a month before I put other fish in the tank.
Anyway, what fish do you suggest?
Thanks,
rrockey

Jen asked: I am planning on getting a bigger fish tank, 15 to 20+ gallons, depending on what I can fit into a certain spot in my living room… and I wanted to know what some beautiful fish would be to keep in it.
I love the beauty of salt water fish, but a freshwater tank would be easier to maintain…I have the time and COULD keep a salt water tank up, but what is the point in making extra daily chores and expence?
The spot I’m trying to fill is: 26w x 26l x 20d, maby I need a bigger tank (havent gone to petstore yet (i live out of town) if you have any suggestions on this they’d be appreciated also!

Christopher Michael asked:
I just bought a new fish tank that I’m filling with freshwater fish tomorrow, but I need to know if its absolutely necessary to have a canister of aquarium salt in there. Petco does it. I’ve never seen it done before so what, if any, are the benefits?

I would prefer smaller fish so there can be more rather than a few big ones. Does anyone know what fish would stand out the most?
