What Freshwater Fish can I put in my 20 Gallon?

Any small to medium fish should be fine as long at it is compatible with the black skirt. I wouldn’t recommend neons as black skirts can get large enough to eat them and neon’s bright colors seem to entice fish that don’t bother anything else. I keep serpae and red eye tetras with my black skirts. Also tetras usually do best in schools of 6 or more so I would recommend getting 4 more black skirts and maybe a school of another type of tetra or some other type of compatible fish.
