  1. 1 male betta
    or
    3 female betta

You should have a heater also.

  2. neons are good but you need lots because they live in schools.

  3. a few small ones, 1 betta is too extreme, you can have a nice community of dwarf fish, honey gouramies, small tetras like the neons, clown plecos, and corie cats, they all stay small, chances of any breeding are minimal except for the gouramies and they are fairly atractive, google them, see what you think, take care

  4. if you get a heater and a small filter, i would sugest some guppys, 1 male and 3 female

Or you can skip the heater and get white cloud mountain minnows. they are a cooldwater fish so u dont need a heater and they are really easy to take care of. they are pretty too. they have a few diffrent kinds, the regular ones are greenish brown, and they have gold ones and highfined ones (meteor minnows) but the meteor minnows are rare, i only saw them once at the fish stores near my house and they were $10 dollers each opposed to $1 for the regular minnows.
    good luck with your fish!!

i said only 4 guppys because they have babys really fast and soon you will have a lot. also you could put a few cory catfish in there. i would get 4 guppys and 3 corys and if ur gupys have babys dont seperate becuase the parents will eat most of the babys so u dont have to worry about finding them homes

  5. tiger barbs

  6. I would have to say swordtails or a few neons, some people like the little catfish. but serious i would go with swordtails or a few neons. dont mix them though as you probably already know do not put goldfish in with the swordtails or neons they say goldfish let off amonia and that can be hazzard to them.

  7. Well, the rule is 1in of fish/gallon but no need to follow that!!
i would suggest small school fish such as any barbs, neons, corys, and those preety little red striped fish at the pet store. make sure you dont overstock!!!
love ya… email me back!!! Miley

JUST KEEP MIND 1INCH OF FISH = 1 GALLON!!! But you can get away say 2 minnows per inch!! Or any other small fish!

  10. A pair of Swordtails
    A pair of Guppies
