  1. Try guppies or betta fish

  2. the minimum tank size even to be considered or fish is a 2.5 gallon and thats only suitable for a betta

  3. Try siamese fighting fish

  4. most people will say none, because thats not suitable for any fish yata yata yata , but before i put my male betta in a suitable home (1.5 gallon filtered tank), i had him in a 1 gallon bowl for a year, now that hes in a filtered tank, hes never had any problems, and now hes over 2 years old, which is pretty good id say, and i expect him to live for much longer now. if u plan on gettin a fish, i would get a betta, and a betta only (male or female, but only one if gender), and if possible, upgrade to anything bigger with a filter, so that they can live as long as possible… good luck with it

  5. A neon tetra fish , they’re only like 1.5 cm long

  6. A betta would be an ok choice. If the room temp is below 75F you need to but him a hydro mini aquarium heater ir else he will be less active and will catch disease easier. Also, NO GOLD FISH! They need 10 gallons each!! Guppies need to be in numbers and most small fish are very very active and need 10 gallons. Bottom line, NOTHING smaller than 1 gallon. If you have 12$ to spare you can get a 2.5 fallon tank at pet smart! Good luck with your fish!!

  7. Nothing can live in 1 gallon of water.

Bettas really need 5 gallons, filtered heated minimum. Guppies need 10 gallons filtered heated minimum.

Inform your teacher of that. All fish need fully matured and filtered proper tanks.

If you must do experiments look into the Walstad Method but no fish!

  8. Neon Tetra
    Tiger Barb
    Guppies
    Chinese Algae Eater
    Molly
    Platies
    African Dwarf Frog
    Barb
    snails
    betta

  9. That is a very small tank. and not many fish are “good” in that tank. one Betta would be ehh ok. one male guppy would again be ehh ok you don’t want any female live bearers as they could be pregnant when you buy them. Even putting one male guppy in the tank isn’t that great of an idea as they are social fish and get about 2in or so which following the 1in per 1gal means he is too big for the tank.
